The four options
Keep your own iPhone or Android
Locked down, so that social media and the open internet need a parent's approval. A parent attends one setup class where we show them exactly how.
A kid-safe smartphone
Calls and texts, with no social media on it at all. Gabb and Pinwheel both make one, among others.
A flip phone
Old school. No internet, nothing to lock down.
No phone at all
Completely allowed. Some students pick this.
Parent setup classes
Required only if your student is keeping their own iPhone or Android. Attend either date, or work through the step-by-step guide on your own.
